Lambie

Hailey got the cutest Lambie from Gramma when she was born. Out of all the stuffed animals around her, this was her favorite. Lambie is her baby and can't sleep without it. My greatest fear is losing it. One day, Nathan found out the the name of Lambie is acuactlly Lullaby.

So I went on to Amazon and looked up TY Beanie Babies Lullaby. I found one for $10 with shipping. So I brought and anxiously waited for ti to come. However, Hailey has a Beanie Buddy and not a Beanie Baby. Lullaby Beanie Buddy is $50 without shipping. So there is no replacement for Lambie. Its funny to see the color difference between the two lambs. Lambie used to be white with a pink ribbon.

Naptime on Sunday

I love 9:30am church because right after church, we have a quick lunch then everyone goes to bed. Generally, Nate lays down for 5 minutes then goes back down stairs. Hailey doesn't take naps anymore but she doesn't really get into things.

Until today...

Hailey grabbed the camera and first took a self portrait.
Then she went to check up on Daddy, who wasn't sleeping but writing things down in bed.
Another self-portrait.
She's been attached to this puppy recently (nothing replaces Lambie but it's a close 2nd right now). Her Gramma Cherie got it for her in New York a few years back.
From Hailey's angle our 17in TV looks like a decent size.
There were a lot of strange pictures of the carpet and of Hannah's toys. Eventually she got bored and asked to play dress up instead.
Hailey wears the yellow skirt (which used to be mine) because yellow is my favorite color, and it's her way of trying to get me to play with her. The world of an 4 year old is an interesting place.

Hannah's Crawling

Here is some videos on Hannah's new trick.

Hannah now crawls. She only does a handful of "steps" but she'll be cruising before long.

Rexburg Day Trip

As summer comes to a close, I decided that we should take a day trip to Rexburg and go down memory lane. First, after we quickly drove by University Village, we went to the Temple.
It was built in 2008. We went to the open house and were able to do a session once.

Hailey took this picture so Nathan could be in one.
Hailey and Robert (and I) love seeing different the Temples.

Then we went to campus. We took lots of pictures in the gardens.

The only building that was open was the MC. However, the have completely changed it. This is the only place we could recognize. Though it may seem silly, underneath the stairs had a lot of good memories for us. When we were dating/engaged we would come here and sit on the bench and read scriptures together.
This is the dorm I used to live at for 2 years.
Then we went to my favorite restaurant, Gringos!

(Another picture taken by Hailey)

After that we went to the Splash Park that is also a new addition.
It's completely free and only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Besides the little fountains, there is this cool play area with slides.

Then we went to the carousel.
To end our wonderful trip, we went to a delicious ice shop.
This is the only ice cream that is even better then Blue Bell Ice Cream.

Water Bubble Table

Do you see all the white specks in the sky? There were hundreds of seagulls circling around Bartz field then moved up to our apartment. It was a very strange sight.
So while the birds where being strange, I pulled out the water table and added bubbles.
It was a big hit with kids of all ages.
Poor Hannah got a little sunburned.
Since I only had 2 bubble wands, I pulled out our shovels.
Robert had fun chasing me with water to get my feet wet.

Hannah's Pull-ups

I need my camera on me all the time because Hannah is changing fast! I was doing something else and turned and found Hannah pulling herself up. It took me a while to find my camera and this picture was taken right before she fell.
After her diaper change, she tried to do it again but her feet were stuck.
And again later that day.
She can't pull herself to her feet yet but this is still a great accomplishment.

Pocatello Zoo with Friends

Josie invited us to go to the zoo with her.

I love it when little kids hold hands together. Here's Briella and Robert. When Robert says her name it sounds more like umbrella.
Luc also joined us. He kept running around so he fell of got his knees and legs scraped up.
Of course, Rylan and Hannah joined us by being happy observers in their strollers.
At the end, they all played in the tree house.

It was a great day at the zoo. It's starting to get chilly now. I sad about fall coming.
