4 Months

Here's my sweet pea! She sleeps from 9pm-7am on most night. She has discovered her hands and toes. She weighs a little most than 14 lbs. She's a joy to me. I love my chubby baby who's perfect in every way.

Easter Part 2

Before we forget her, here's a picture of Hannah being fascinated with her hands and completely oblivious of the Easter celebrations around her.
I made an spiritual set of plastic eggs, the had different scriptures and an object to go with it. I got this idea/pattern from the Primary presidency in Rexburg. Finally, I felt like Hailey was old enough to understand it a little.

The kids had a fun time finding the eggs and seeing what the object is.

Later in the day, we hide the candy eggs, the real eggs, and their baskets throughout the house.

Nathan was giving Hailey a lot of clues to find the egg on the door handle, and she just couldn't find it. It was fun for us to watch.

Robert on the other hand, had no problem finding the egg on the door handles.

Here we are wrapping up our Easter celebrations by checking out the goods.

For our bed time story, I read a great Easter picture that went through Jesus life. I think Hailey understand that Easter is for Jesus.

Easter Part 1

On the Saturday before Easter, we made Easter cookies. I am so excited to finally have a kid old enough to start traditions with. Hailey helped me cut shapes out of the cookie dough.

While the cookies bake and cool, we decorated eggs as a family. It was great to have a parent for each kid.

I got a tie-dye egg kit, which was kinda strange. I think I'll stay with regular food dye or glitter.

Once we were finished with all the eggs, we went back to decorating the cookies.

The frosting was too liquidity and made a big mess. However, making a mess never bothers the kids. They had a lot of fun.

Robert did a great job decorating.

Roll over, Hannah!

Hannah rolled over twice from tummy to back!!! But I wasn't able to get her in action.

Here's a funny video of Hailey and I trying to convince a 3 1/2 month old to roll. Hailey shouted "She's not!"

Babysitting

This videos shows my favorite trick that works with noisy kids. It started in Nursery at church and worked wonders for 8-15 kids. And gave the workers 5 seconds of peace while they are "sleeping".

Tummy Time

Hannah hates being on her tummy but we still try to give her a little bit of tummy time everyday. She'll be happy for 2-5 minutes and then screams.

Robert recently started to tuck things into bed. He covers his trains, stuffed animals, whatever is close by with a blankets. He also pretty attached to Hannah and wants her to sleep with him. He doesn't understand how to be gentle with her and still sits on her a lot. I love watching Robert turning into a big brother.
