While in Iowa, we went to their Living History Farms. It's a great place to take kids and it can easily take all day. The best part was that Hailey and Robert could hang out with this cool guy, Uncle Kyle.
I think they are looking at pigs in this picture. There were cows graving close by and chickens running loose. We went into the horses' stalls but Robert (who love animals) was too scared to pet them. Of course their heads are bigger then his body was it makes sense why he would be nervous.
And the two things that little boys like best, dirt and water, distracted Robert on our walk.
While Hailey got to be carried by Uncle Kyle.
After we went through the farms and got pulled by a
tractor, we went into the village.
The kids had fun at the school house.
Hailey can't wait until Kindergarten. And look at those cute curls. Iowa does get things for her hair.
