The best thing about our house is the basement. Instead of the kid's playing area being limited to under the stairs, the have one huge room.
It has a built in entertainment center which is perfect for all the VHS we have inherited. All the kid's books and puzzles are hidden under the TV. There is the door to the fourth bedroom (which will be my craft room but currently is our junk room) and to our new "library".Instead of using these shelves for food, we are using them for all our books that we had to store in boxes for years.
Also in the main room, is a little bar area which is my teacher desk. The brown door leads to our huge utility/storage room. And under the stairs in another hidden closet.
When Hailey was born, Grandpa Baker made her a picnic table. Finally, after almost 5 years, we are able to put it together. He also included a cute red checker board table cloth and napkins for future tea parties.
The kids love it and we use it frequently for games, crafts, teaching, pretend eating, and anything else they can image. We are so thankful to have it.
