Hannah's Signs

Besides being epileptic, Hannah's ear drums are plugged. This cause frequent ear infections and slight hearing loss. She can understand everything we say but it's like hearing underwater so the sounds are too muffled for her to copy and talk back. The fix is pretty easy, she just needs tubes in her ears but we finally discovered what the issue was in early June  and with the move it doesn't give us enough time to go to an ENT and fix the problem. Hopefully before she turns 3 years old, she will have her ears worked on.

This was a very frustrating problem because up until she was two she only whined. In February, we started speech therapy and have worked on signing a lot.
